I needed some portable aftershave because honestly I usually shave at work, not in the mornings at home .. these, although they don't have alcohol in them, feel very refreshing and seem to do the job well. They feel quite cold to the touch.

A review of the 2x50 packs of Ocean Scent WipesI don't think this is a product that will change my daily shaving routine. After all, there is something about using bottled after-shave that has become an essential part of the shaving experience.That being said, I do a lot of traveling where I don't want to put anything liquid in my suitcase. It's bad enough that my shampoo bottle or mouthwash has leaked all over the place when I arrive at my destination. I don't need the same thing from my after-shave. So, in this case, these wipes are the perfect solution for traveling.Made for more sensitive skin, there is no alcohol included in these wipes. That gave me some initial concern as to how effectively these would work after a shave.The wipes come in large, individually wrapped packages which are easy to tear open and put to immediate use. Out of the package, they are extremely moist with a slightly noticeable scent that's not overbearing. Gently wiping this across my neck, I got a nice, moist, and cool sensation. It's not mentholated but almost feels like Witch Hazel without any burning. There's definitely some disinfecting going on here.The after-effect of using this wipe as an alternative to aftershave is that my neck felt completely clean, void of excess hair, and had no burning sensation.There is nothing cheap about this product from its packaging to its effectiveness. It certainly is salon quality and perfect for traveling or for anyone who simply needs more calming after-shave relief.

You'll notice from the package that these wipes can be used after shaving, and also as a facial cleansing wipe, and additionally as an antiseptic surface wipe. Impressive. I usually wouldn't think one should use the same type of wipe on one's face and one's toilet seat, but apparently these are different. The main ingredients in the wipe are tea tree oil and hypochlorous acid, which are natural/non-chemical sanitizing ingredients. The wipes smell like lemon disinfectant, even though they are supposed to be ocean scent. They are also advertised as barber wipes for men, but I'm female and feel like they are gender neutral except for the manly graphics on the containers. I shaved my legs and pits and used these wipes afterwards. They were soothing, did not sting, and did not leave any residue. They seemed to prevent redness and after-shaving bumps that form. I could definitely see using them for my face or my bathroom faucet in a pinch. The wipes are individually packaged, which isn't eco-friendly, but is highly convenient for travel, and they are easy to throw in a purse or gym bag. They're a little different from anything I've encountered in wet wipes, but they are effective and useful.

Each box has 50 individually wrapped wipes for a total of 100 wipes. My husband just got a haircut and shave. He was eager to try these because he’s never had or used an aftershave wipe. He stated that he loves these wipes for his sensitive skin. He said they feel cool on the skin and have a nice scent. He said that he likes the way his face feels clean and moisturized after using them.We showed these aftershave wipes to his barber and asked why he never told us about them. The barber gave these wipes 2 thumbs up.I realized that these wipes will be good for so many other uses for my household….for acne, dry skin & scalp, to heal wounds, to disinfect & sanitize, for eczema, for psoriasis, for cuts & scrapes, and for insect bites. The uses for these wipes are pretty much endless, so they get a 20 out of 10 from us!!
