3.6/5I will list my gripes right out the box. Very slick feeling. I like the look and the size and weight but it’s too slick. I know there’s grippers you can put on these just like we all have but you damn near need them for this not like a personal preference.Most notably for me, it’s so loud. It does feel powerful I’ll give them that but maybe I’m just used to my jrl’s being so quiet and still powerful. It even says on the box low noise motor so either I have a defective one or I have a different standard for what quiet is.The lever. Feels janky. If you’re right handed there’s a decently sharp spot right where you’d use it to open and close. For left hand it doesn’t have this. Aside from that it just feels cheaply made. I even broke it in for a while just to see if it was stiff from being so new but nope. The little notch system they have isn’t great. If you put any sideways pressure just from holding it how you would when cutting and quickly opening or closing you’ll cause it to be a stiffer movement.Those are just things i initially noticed. Everything isn’t bad but again for 169$ there are definitely much better options out there. If they put these on sale maybe they can fit into a rotation if you need something as a back up.It does come with a charger stand and guards. Both good things. And the run time is closer to the industry standard 3hrs. I tried to show the zero gap out the box in my pics which it is at where I like mine to be. Almost perfectly 0 but not quite.Love taper blades and this one seems to be quality. Reminded me of the wahl vapor blade.The travel lock worked great for me. I seen others had trouble with theirs mine worked on the first 3 presses. Really nice feature I think should be an industry standard.Most of my review sounded negative but as a barber with a good bit of experience under my belt I tried to stick to the points I looked for in clippers when I was coming up and even now when I’m looking to add to the rotation. I hope my info helped. Going to cut with these more and more and if I need to update my review I will.

Hair Clippers for men & boys. Great set for at home hair cuts. This is a great set for cutting hair at home. I have a husband and two boys. It has become expensive having to cut their hair. This hair clipper is easy to use. It’s heavy duty, good quality. It came dead, so it does need to be charged right away. It’s cordless which makes it convenient that I can cut their hair anywhere.Edit- also want to add that if you’re using it for the first time. It has a travel lock that you have to disengage first. You press the button 3 times quickly.

This Supreme Trimmer Darkstar 72 Clipper is a sleek, high-quality product that my husband absolutely loves! This Supreme Trimmer Darkstar 72 Clipper w/DLC Blades is an upgrade on my previous clippers from them. These are fantastic with 10 guards at different sizes and a charging base and direct charge.

Cordless! I have been cutting my husband's and six sons' hair for probably around 27 years. I am NOT a trained professional and far from it but I cut their hair to save money. One of the biggest negatives was always the cord and having to be near an outlet or just dancing around trying to keep getting tangled in the cord. Enter this product. I LOVE this! No cord! I have only cut one time so far but it is a dream. I did have one time that the guard fell off while using before I realized not only is it magnetic but I needed to snap it in place also. There are a LOT of guards that come with it. It also included some oil, a brush for the blades and two charging cords with a charging stand as well. It cut fine for us and seems plenty sharp. The one I used before was a name brand but I am loving this one! And did I say cordless?! The only things missing might be a bag or case to hold it all. I may keep it in the case from my old one. Also, a cape but I already had one of those.

I really like this unit because it's cordless. The corded ones are okay, but the cord is always getting in the way as you move around and can sometimes can get twisted up. That's not an issue with this one. It comes with the USB charging adapter, and two charging cables. You can charge it in the included cradle, you can plug the cord directly into the shaver. When it arrives, the power-on switch is "locked" to prevent it from accidently turning it on. Reading the instructions, I found that you need to press the power button three times in rapid succession to "unlock" it. After that, a single press will turn it on or off.It includes plenty of combs, a cleaning brush, and some blade oil. There is also an easy to understand manual.It's a solid high quality device and easy to use. If there is any downside, it would be that it's on the expensive side. For the cost I'm surprised that it didn't include a good case to store the combs and accessories.

For a long time now some family members have been going the DIY route in the haircutting department. The Supreme Trimmer has ten guide combs, which I find are somewhat standard. I listed them all below and how long you can expect one’s hair to be once they are attached.There are no scissors or other accessories, but I’ve purchased a decent set of professional scissors to accompany the clippers. I do have a complete set for trimming and thinning. This particular hair clipper is solid, albeit a bit pricey at just under $170. There’s no styling advice included in any haircutting kit I’ve owned, but there are plenty of online tutorials to check out. If I could compare these to any clipper at the moment, it would be the instincts. The thing that I enjoy about the supreme dark star is that it gives you the same if not better cut quality than the instincts have but without the weight. Fading with this tool is effortless And precise! Have you seen any of my reviews? You know that I am 100% team to supreme and I will say it 1 million times, this company is for the barbers!

The Darkstar 72 Clipper has a low noise level and is easy to use. It has so many attachments that it’s guaranteed you’ll be able to find the right length. It gives a smooth, professional cut.

This is a nice cordless hair clipper.Is it over $150 nice? I don’t think so.It felt ok, and it was easy to hold. I almost thought it was broke. As I could not get it to turn on. Even after charging it for a few hours.It was locked! I just had to press the power button 3x.So that was a nice feature to have, now that I read the instructions. lolIt cut hair good. But just far too pricey in my opinion.

This clipper checks all the boxes! it's powerful and feels well made with a good heft to it; it's intuitive to use and came already all charged up. I like that you can lock it so it doesn't accidentally get squeezed and turned on while it's packed away. It has all the guards you need for any length and is great for quick trims/ no more pulling out an extension cord, you can cut your hair anywhere ! Great buy.

Well balanced and sturdy hair clipper. Cordless is a HUGE plus. Built well and feels good in your hand, not like so many of the super light plastic ones that seem to be all over but are rather clunky. The cut is good with adjustable blade and multiple guards. Long battery life and stand up charger. Very quiet to operate. Nice.

Instead, this vendor opted for a multiple press. Manual is somewhat hard to follow due to putting multiple languages in each step instead of combining each language in a set of pages.Says "two chargers" included when what is really meant is "two charging cables" as there is only one cell phone type charger and base provided.

I like the quality and design. I also love the color, VIP . The heads included are versatile. Heavy duty and well built.
