DARKSTAR 72™ Clipper

This clipper and accessories came packed in nice box, so this could make a good gift. The clipper is made from high quality materials. It feels solid and professional. It is quiet and certainly clips cleanly and easily. I like that it is cordless and recharging is through a base. It holds its charge well for at least 2 haircuts (did not more people to try it on) and likely more. The charging base plugs vis usba, and there are 2 wires. I like the lock function as this makes it great for travel. Not sure this is the best value at the stated price, but otherwise is a good clipper

I had trouble at first with it bot wanting to turn on but tapped the button twice and that seemed to fix it. It blinked red then would turn on after one tap going forward. I don't know if it was a safety mode or what. I had a lot of hair at least 2-3 inches length at the longest. I am black though so that's 3 inches of fro so condensed. It was about to cut through all of that in about 5 minutes. I only trimmed it down but it all came out nice and even. It came with like half a dozen different guards. I don't know about battery life but it comes with a stand for your sink but you could definitely charge it toss it in a bag for a trip and not have to worry unless you're shaving your entire body every day 3 times a day and you have a lot of hair. I'm happy with the product.

It is beautiful, and it works so much better than my previous (and much much cheaper) trimmers. This is much more heavy duty. It trims neatly and easily. If you are used to less powerful models this might seem loud to you (it did to me at first). The controls are easy, but they are a bit different than those of my other devices, so I still look at the directions once in awhile. This comes with a variety of guards, which gives me lots of options. I’m still learning to use the taper lever, which adds more trimming options. I was quite surprised but happy that it comes with a special piece to protect the blade when not in use. It comes with a charging wall block and 2 cables that are the same; both fit into the device itself or into the optional-use charging stand. Having two cords is good because they are an unusual (to me anyway) shape and now I don’t have to worry if I lose one. I like this trimmer a lot. It is pricey, but I do like it.

This clipper is basically the ninja of hair tools—super quiet but slices through hair like a lightsaber. Runs for 180 minutes, which is longer than my patience at a family BBQ. The blades are sharp, smooth, and it feels like I hired a pro right at home (without the awkward small talk). If you want your hair gone fast and your ears spared, this is the one.
